Nice to see. I have been planning to do some sound tests for a video but need 2 phones like you did. Every 3 decibels is a 2-fold difference in sound. So indeed that's a significant difference. In general those are quiet. My TCP is about 113 decibels on the NIOSH sound app for IOS.
Does it add a lot of front weight to the HDR?

those phone app decibel reader are garbage, im gonna buy a real one and try again with mine, a average conversation is about 40 decibels, when you were talking it read in the 70s lol no way are you talking that loud lol but you can see there is a difference 🙂 great video man 🙂

Thanks for making this video, I have had my silencer for a while now, but I will only use it with ball type ammo, as a friend of mine shot some hard bullet shaped type ammo with ball bearings in, ( the devastator type) and noticed some black flakes coming out of the barrel when using them, so I was a little concerned they were damaging this inside of the silencer, so I'm sticking to ball type ammo, once again, thanks for the video.

Alright mate another great vid 👍 .always wondered if the silencer would make a difference and not just cosmetic now I know 👍 . Mate what tech 23 have sent you as a sample pack is ace probably about £150 worth . Those shot gun shells they gave you are very good I brought them when they first came out they where blue and a bit smaller holds 9 BBs in each think them ones you got hold more and longer . Tried them with plastic BBs but then found some milbro 6mm steel BBs they are very good with them .you will have alot of fun with them .keep up the good work take care 👍

To the test,I learned that 10db more means double loud.Thats why the numbers seems small but with big difference.
I hope you cleaned the chronograph sensors haha!
The dB numbers can be a bit misleading, the dB scale is not linear, but logarithmic, so small changes in value can often half (or double) the perceived volume
Hello again. The app was probably reading correctly because the scale is exponential when it comes to measuring sound.
If it is increased by 10db that means it’s TWICE as loud. So the silencer obviously did a great job.

Hey quick question any help is appreciated, does anyone know the size of the outter screws of the HDR 50? My screws were so tight I couldn't remove them. So them being stripped I don't want to remove them until I know what the replacement are. Umarex wants me to send it in. For some screws they won't even tell me the size. So thats where I'm at. I just want to upgrade my marker..
