10 Cheap Handguns Under $250 in 2022
Owning firearms does not have to be an expensive affair. While there are many fine guns out there that will cost you a pretty penny, there are certainly other pieces that will get the job done without breaking the bank. If you are in dire need of a self-defense firearm and do not have much cash to work with, I have here a list of 10 firearms for this purpose.

COBRA ARMS went out of business, they no longer make them.
Where are you finding P64s for less than $250?
The video opens with a Hi Point 9c with a LASER on it. Hell yeah. 😎👍
Buy a Glock 23 or a 17, or higher caliber glocks. IMO the most reliable gun you can own.
Also, the GX4 fron Taurus is significantly smaller than the G3C, the GX4 is definitely a pocket pistol.
SAR9 from Sarsilmov and the STR9 from Stroeger are excellent guns for the money, they are superior to everything on this list and you can find them.
Taurus is actually a step up from most of these, the G3 and G3C are both better than the guns listed. As is the Ruger security 9 if you fix the known slide issue…
Truth be told you can do a lot better than what is listed here with used guns, from better sources. Many can be had for $250ish.
Also don't forget, a pistol needs a competent holster to live in, about 5 magazines, and 500 rounds to train with and break in the gun. All the best, enjoy.
I had a cobra that was not reliable, but my high point has never failed me and it was half the price of the cobra.
U put a C9 on here thumbs down
You do realize both the p32 and p11 have restrike capabilities
$300.00 PSA Dagger well worth it, mine is accurate and eats any ammo and ZERO issues at 1023 rounds
I remember when cheap pistols were called Saturday Special’s! Do these fall in that category? Hahahahaha
A used S&W SD9 would probably be available for about $250. Other than that I'd probably look at Stoeger, Sarsilmov, Girsan or Taurus for a budget handgun, but I don't think I'd trust my life with anything lower than that.
The G3C is now sold at $220 – $265 and now comes with $25 rebate FYI

Very good vid…..your very right about Hi Points!!!!!
The HiPoint C-9 is a workhorse. Unless there is an issue with the magazine, they will feed and run any ammo you have.
I’m done watching who’s channel no taraus or sccy that’s be there the best budget guns
Stay away from the “Lorcin “ models bought event though cheap and good warranty they constantly jam and need repairs
A good word about the Kel-Tec P-11: do not be afraid to gamble on a decent looking used one! They are out of production, but they CAN be a great pistol used even though Kel-Tec has a questionable reputation for service. It is a brilliant design very safe for pocket carry: It is a light double-action only pistol that is never fully cocked unless fired; a hammer fired pistol with a ten round magazine (most S&W Series 59 double stack mags will fit.) The double-stack magazine gives width to the grip that reduces any pain from the 9mm recoil. It is a drop-barrel semi-auto and NOT a blowback design. I bought a used one in 1993, have put at least four hundred rounds through it, including a lot of HOT self-defense hollowpoint bullets, and it has NEVER EVER FAILED except with cheapo after-market magazines! Internally it looks brand new. I still carry it in hot weather……………………..elsullo
@ 3:36 Cobra .380 is pice of 💩
And cobra company is grimy i bought a brand new 380 that NEVER worked out the box the slide does NOT go into battery and ive called, email, and writen the company and they responded to me what a waste it just stills there as a paperweight!
DO NOT BUY!
if you hurting that bad buy a Taurus G2C which most can be found for about 200 maybe a few bucks more BUT its way more reliable that all these listed!
Some of these guns seem kind of sketchy at any price. I own a Hi-Point 45 ACP, ugly as sin, but reliable and pretty accurate. I also have a carbine in 9mm, also built like a truck despite being ugly. I trust these guns and being cheap is no sin.
You need to add Brazilian Taurus G1, G2 9mm. Cost around $200.
The NAA is .22wmr…
Taurus C2 and C3 are better handguns than most of those you covered at great prices.
in 2013 i picked up a Hipoint C9 for $119.00
didn't need it , didn't particularly want it . . . but for that price i thought what the hell .
it doesn't like steel or aluminum case ammo ( may just be my gun ) but it runs brass all day .
You can order the North American firearms from Academy all day long.
I watched 30 seconds of this video and then you lost me at "Makorov". Seriously? Good luck finding ammo for it! If you want a really good (BRAND NEW OUT OF THE BOX) gun for $250, go buy a Taurus G2C or, preferably a G3C. I own a half-dozen of them just for the hell of it. Most of the pistols listed in this video don't even belong at a garage sale!!!
you are very remiss in leaving out the Ruger EC9s, a very reliable 9mm 7+1 semi auto at avg $225
Good vidio !!!
This guy doesn’t sound like he knows what he’s talking about. Seems Russian
Come on.. there are so many much better choices than several of these options.
I carried a keltec p11 as a backup for over 20 years on a ankle holster. It has gone bang every time I qualified or shot it.
Are we talking about new or used
Dumbest list I've seen… most prices are inaccurate unless buying used from pawn shops (which is stated in video) but finding any of these are near impossible. Even if found, I would not buy! These guns at pawn shops are barely regulated and you never know if it is going to actually work. Worse off you don't know if the firearm has been used in a murder until it is to late.
I would not trust my life to Keltec! 9mm Makorov? Ammo were, Russia? Taurus all the way!
Do you still need a permit for a palm pistol?
Taurus G3C is the best option if your on a budget
Compact 9mm with re-strike and comes with three 12 round magazines. If you don't want to wait for it to go on sale then get a Hi Point C9
HP good gun
I have a phoenix hp22 that has been decent (can only use hot ammo out of the box so pick up some stinger/velocitor until you lighten the spring) 200 bucks for it
where do I order the slide for my glock that makes it able to put a holographic sight on it
The m88 zastava is available in 7.62 X 25
I'll buy one for fun 🤪
You could include any gun that you can find at a pawnshop for under $200 🙄
This video, like several of the ones I've watched on this channel, is a little…odd. The firearms picked here seem more a random list. I noticed a similar pattern with the video about pocket pistols. I mean, a P64? Really?
So how about the P-17? You know, the one in the thumbnail that conspicuously isn't featured in the video?
the best gun in the world is not to have one or to kill now shoot this
A cobra and a double tap…? Wow. Hopefully there aren’t any people on a budget watching this trying to get information before buying their first handgun. Taurus G2C/G2S, G3C, ruger ec9s, stoeger str9/str9c.. all of them much better options than anything on the list and can be found in the same price range.
One can always find a used Ruger P89/90/94/95 used for around this price or less. It's not new but even used they are generally pretty reliable if cleaned and maintained.
At buyer!
