The Curious 12ga Shotgun Slug with a .22LR Round Inside
We have another strange and brilliant creation from Evan Perry to test today. Evan makes slugs out of very unusual objects which might sound easy. But the shape, the diameter and balance must be correct to make the slugs function correctly and accurately.

i would be afraid to shoot that. Imagine if the slug rotated during flight to point down range and the 22 round hit something solid and fired back toward the shooter.
I really thought the thumbnail was 2 brass door knobs lol hahahaha: like dam people are putting bullets in the key slot !!!
Needs a back plate with a firing pin so when the slug hits the target the 22 goes off!! Have him do a 9mm 357 and 44 magnum!!
I just caught your hollow brass shower valves. I think it would be awesome to leave the end closed, then put a cone of copper pointing towards the backside of the shell. The bottom (flat part) should fill the rest all the way to the inside of the valve. See what it does when setup sorta like a tank shell. It would be awesome to see what you get out of different iterations there. I think a 1/2 to 3/8 steel (not armored), among your other media.
JASON STATHAM!??! oh wait its just officer greg hahahaha got me for a second there
I thought that thumbnail was a booby trap door knob😂
Areola Round.
I thought this was going to be about deadly doorknobs when I saw the thumbnail.
Seeing the empty centre made me think of putting a squeeker from a dog toy into it.
The "Deception round" you think it is a 12 but really it is a baby .22
Anyone else notice the Macguyver Theme song during the slow-mo playbacks? Thought you were going to get one over on us, huh?
maybe try a few steel bbs behind the primer that might set it off?
The Gut Punch.
Have watched a number of your videos, and the latest and greatest methods of destruction !
But the footage of that last round had me saying
," no shit "
" no shit " no shit " more than I have probably ever said it before on one of your videos !
Not kidding !
That was some kind of impressive stuff right there gentlemen ! 😎
So you gave it your 22 cents worth ?! 😉👍
The "I'm ok, no I'm not round"
If it worked
Perhaps a rubber membrane attached to the back of the slug with a pin in it behind the .22 and maybe if needed a thin layer of cardboard or something as a safety and to give the slap membrane more time to accelerate.
Also that .22OLR would never outpace the slug as it has almost no barrel and would always rely on the slug to give it fps. A short in that same slug, may be able to get its own wind at some point down the shotgun barrel when the slug starts to lose some its energy.
Put it backwards and shot a metal plate 😎
IT IS A BAD IDEA ,,A 22000 PSI ACCIDENT WAITING TO HAPPEN ,,I CAN MAKE IT GO OFF BUT I WONT CAUSE THE AMERICAN PUBLIC IS SO FOOLISH AND DANGEROUS THIS FOOLISH EXPERIMENT HAS ENORMOUS POTENTIAL
Insemination round
No injection!
Very interesting outcome. You turned a .22 round inside out.
We once loaded a shot cup with pins from my mom's sewing kit. The effects are pretty interesting. Not much penetration, but it will slice a soft target to ribbons.
Oh man.The tumble on that brass plug =death .but the .22 slug tucked inside ,as a stowaway ? would have the best forensics ,tied up in knots.
Should had place that 22 round in backwards
a birthing slug I thought I had heard of everything
It should be called the sucker punch lol
I've turned similar to these in brass as Tips for Rambo II style Arrows for my compound bow. in the early Naughties.
The actual Tip of the Arrow passes through the back of the powder containing Head/Chamber and was set in position so that they would only detonate on impact, using the exploding 22lr Round to ignite the powder inside the turned Brass 'Chamber.'
I guess that the temperature and the 'Hammer' hitting the Rim of the 22lr cartridge correctly
the door knocker.
1222
Those clouds in the distance look like trees !
Just watched again. "Jerry Michelob" and the Ray Liotta jokes were HILARIOUS Greg! The one liner OG!
jack in the box. the only fear in my book is that the 22 bullet survives but is set off on impact with a target which thou not in a barrel to have any accuracy … has the potential to come back at the shooter or go off in any tangent from that impact. so i hope it does go off at the same time the shot gun slug goes off.
well i am at the part where you look at the one where the 22 didn't go off, … what if you added a thumbtack to the striker area? like a thumbtack with a little of putty? so the shock wave pushes the thumbtack squeezing the putty to the sides? and into the 22's round triggering point?
The Bee Keeper… cuz it has a .22 caliber little bee inside.
the face of dummy being shot and holdingit ajajajajaja
Alien chest burster? Wtf
Is that Brandon or Bannon….?
Nice tshirt…how does a LEO feel about the number of weirdos and wackos who ‘legally’ buy guns?
Evan is an unofficial Taofledermaus member at this point… hope you've sent him some cool stuff in exchange for his incredible rounds over the years!
Yo Dawg, I heard you like to shoot bullets so we put a bullet in a bullet so you can shoot bullets while you shoot bullets.
better if you tried it on a more harder target so that there is a big possibility that the 22 round will ignite or go boom,
