There's a difference of opinion on the definition of trapezoid. The figure I drew is, according to my sources, a scalene trapezoid.
Also, I have no idea what made that sound at 6:01 cow? wookalar? manbearpig?
Point 6. You need to practice and become comfortable and familiar with your firearm.
These comments can be witty….
Theres a scammer in your text thread trying to pose as paul harrell. I dont know what hes doing but he replied to a comment of mine on here. See what you can do. Thanks
But why… Is the Rosi circuit judge not an accurate fire arm…
Wow.. nice… PPS 43…
Does it have anything to do with the ppsh…
The one you have is soooo beautiful
I love it when Paul go's off on his tangents. Put's a smile on my face every time.
Thank you Paul… You remind me of my kind Grandma who had a Tennessee way of making the obvious apply to her children,,,, I in no way am implying that you are prettier than my Grandma. LOL. But you have the talent of expressing the obvious to both the initiated as well as the know-it-all 'initiated' without being too abrasive.
Thank you brother; love your stuff.
@PaulHarrell
I find it very difficult to zero iron sights. I tried over & over but failed. I watched numerous videos on the subject & still didnt improve.
I ended up taking off the iron sights & installed an Primary Arms Optic that is supposedly accurate out to 800 meters.
The rifle is an Armalite Ar10 7.62×51. I could barely hit the paper at 50 yds with the iron sight. With my Ruger 10/22 I can hit a Penny sized target at 50yds. It's not me. I tried to learn with the Iron Sights failed & gave up!
I haven't tried the optic yet. I laser bore sighted it in at 25yds. Should work out. If it does then its only the recoil that I need to attend too.
Thank You. Great video series.
'Let me grab a more accurate rifle…'
– grabs PPS-43
🤣🤣🤣 love it
Props where props are due, though – 2nd group was good 😂
Paul is deadly accurate. If my sarcasm was that deadly, hell, I'd go to parties and such.
Love Paul, but would not want to be his pizza delivery guy.
Great
Dear, tomorrow let's go shooting and then get pizza for lunch.
5:39 🙂
Wait your supposed up aim before or after you shoot?
I'm absolutely SHOCKED… That the worst group was with the 338…
I mean.. isn't that round well known… And accurate
Wierd… That first group is way better than the second… When aiming at the bottom of the target…
I wonder why it's much worse when aiming at the middle.
I get about how it moved.. but the actual size, should have been roughly the same…
Though… I do hear that the wind may have picked up.
Because it really is rocket science. The propellant. Projectile/payload. Launch pad firearm, Weather. Apogee and perigee. Really do have to be a rocket scientist especially when reloading. You also have to be part mechanic. An optics technician. Have meyecrometers to gauge distance. Blessed with an IQ to make it all work.
Who else looks for Sassy-squishies (i.e. bigfoots) in the background while he's yammering?
Brilliant presentation. Thanks Prof Paul!
I appreciate the rant about telescopic scopes. I have to say real world accuracy = rifle+ammo+shooter. However, if you're looking to determine rifle+ammo accuracy its best to eliminate the shooter and generally speaking, a telescopic scope will tighten things up and show how much variance is due to rifle+ammo vs shooter. Having said that, in reality, scope vs open sight, really depends on the shooter and the conditions. There is no wrong answer. The right answer is whatever helps YOU achieve YOUR goal.
Great video! Thanks for sharing.
