Where has proofhouse gone?
Love these vids as it gives a great insight to some guns that either you never heard of or guns that are rarely seen. I love the Holts site as I go and visit them from time to time. Good work from all and what a privilege it would be to spend a day mooching around the sale room!!!

Johnny, how hard is it to bid at the auction and then ship guns to the US? We pay crazy prices over here for older side by sides and there's a couple in this auction I'd love to own. Holts's website is pretty vague.
Still have my L1A1 bought in 1992. Unfortunately in Canada a select few of us have prohibited licenses but cannot use our prohibited firearms, only retain them in our collections.
How would it work if you buy a gun from Holts from Bulgaria?

I've never come across a sealed bid gun auction in the US, in fact a quick search only brings up Holts. I can see where your pocketbook could get in trouble quickly, throw lowball bids on a half dozen guns not seriously expecting to win any of them, and end up winning them all LOL.
I didn't have a great experience with holts

re: the L1A1 you CAN own in UK, there are quite a number of straight pull FAL’s in the UK. I had one and sold it for 2500 quid 😭the Imbel FAL’s seem to be more common.
