5 Most Reliable Handguns Ever Made
When it comes to handguns, we can talk about revolvers and autoloaders. Revolvers have been known to be very reliable even if there are some saying otherwise. That does not mean that revolvers do not experience any malfunctions, but there are a lot of things that can go wrong that revolvers just do not have.
There is generally no safety to disengage, no magazine to load, no slide to rack, no ejection that might fail, and so on and so on. Also, if you do get a dud, pull the trigger again, and shoot the round in the next chamber.
Autoloaders on the other hand, while they are very reliable nowadays, have some more failure points. Granted, these failures are relatively easy to deal with. You forgot to chamber a round? Rack the slide. Apart from that, you want to carry a gun that does reliably feed new rounds, eject spent cases, and always does what it is supposed to do. For this reason, we will not dive into the world of revolvers but instead focus on autoloaders. Without further ado, here are the 5 most reliable handguns you can carry.

most reliable handguns, most reliable guns, most reliable pistols, reliable gun, guns that dont jam, are glocks reliable,

Shit…I wasted 6:25 seconds on my life to get sucked into Glock Fanboy jerk-off video……."Now you are thinking which Glock does he mean. No matter which one, all Glocks stand for accuracy and reliability." Interesting, considering the first thing Glock users do is learn to perfect the feed-check.
I only clicked on the video so I could comment on how bothered I was by the fact that the thumbnail was of a .45 ACP 1911 next to a 17 round 9mm handgun mag
Bunch of experts no shooters
Nobody should have a gun …
I have fired more trouble free rounds through my Beretta 92FS than any other pistol I have owned, with the exception of my Outback gun the Ruger Super Redhawk .44 Magnum pistol.
Hi-Point should be on top of that list, come on!
I have in my 54 years NEVER had a issue when firing a revolver, except for a few misfires with dud ammo, just pull the trigger again!!😀
For me the Beretta 92 and it's grandfather the Walther P38 would make this list BEFORE the CZ or Glock. I trust the Military to test my guns where its counts….downrange. BTW I have NEVER had a misfire, stovepipe, or FTF with my 1911s either. I care for my guns so I don't need plastic.
Back in the day (late 70s/early 80s) swore by my 9mil Browning (O;
Since you didn’t include any revolvers and only considered auto-loaders, the title should be “… Most Reliable PISTOLS …”.
No 1911 or 2011?
A revolver doesn't drop shells at the scene but it does have a rifled barrel. A 22 bullet is untraceable and quiet.
I really wish that there was an auto, other than an Auto Mag , that fires .44 Special .
Is it now politically incorrect to say 9mm Luger? Or, is it because guns like the Luger and P38 feed better with FMJ/ball , and more modern pistols function as well with other projectiles like HP's ?
I feel your list went bust without the m9 or 92fs as well.
You can say all the bad things you want, but Glocks are without a doubt the most reliable handgun on the planet for many reasons. This opinion comes with 45 years of collecting, shooting and training people with firearms. And yes, I have the CZs, Berettas, H&K, Sigs, Caniks, and many others listed in the comments. Remember, we aren't talking about the best trigger, the best looking, the most fun etc., we are evaluating reliability. And I agree with the video, it's the most reliable on the planet.
Love my 75SP01 it feeds anything i have with no issue.
One of my favorite pistols in the collection.
I have 2 glocks.
1 in 9×19 and one in 357sig.
Both no isuuses and runs well.
1911 is the handgun too
Personally id list as follows…
Browning hp
CZ 75
Berretta 92
Glock 19
Sig226
Ups doest make my list, because its not as widely, otherwise good selection.
These lists are just always to short
Comment section is full of people missing the point. Often talking which caliber is best and which gun is their favorite. This video was the authors opinion of most reliable handgun. Not most popular, not best caliber, not best manufacturers. Most reliable.
Good old makarov should be on the list
Thanks for a great video. I would add the Beretta PX4 Storm to the list, and while I have never had a misfire with my 9mm C-96 'Broomhandle' Mauser, I guess it is getting a little long in the tooth. Ditto for my harem of P-38's. Be safe, all! –Old Guy
1911 all day every day and fk the rest
I'm surprised he put Hi-point at the #1 slot. That will upset a lot of folks for sure.
g17 is best boi
You list Glock as #1 above all those? Put down the Cool-Aid. 🤦♂ Aside from the obvious and cringe worthy "Glock boi" it's a decent list. If we are talking non-bias reliability Beretta 92F should probably be considered. I have a Beretta 92FS, Sig WG 228 (almost 30 years old and still runs like a dream) and Glock 19. Of those I put the Glock on the last place on my personal list.
Mad Man Auto matics ELVIS TAYKOR CALI CARTEL MAD MAN..
If I buy a Hi Power, job number one is to have the smith take it apart and remove that annoying magazine safety and work on a better trigger pull. Glock I do not like, but it is a lot better than no gun.
1. Browning High Power. 2. CZ 75. 3. HK USP. 4. SIG SAUER P226. 5. GLOCK.
Love the Glock haters crying that the Glock came in 1st 😂. Cry all you want. Glock is still king of handguns for many reasons .
I've 3 of them, good list.
