When it comes to the gun I keep next to my bed for home defense, there are a few key things I’m looking for.
Reliability, shoot-ability, capacity, accessory modularity, and nightstand appeal, which is a fancy way of saying, look good on my nightstand.
I’m tactically vain; sue me.
For the past few months, I’ve contemplated moving to a 9mm for home defense mainly for capacity, but I’ll address why in detail in another video.

You know a guy is single when they are talking about night stand home defense gun.
Glock 19
The fact that a $600 Walther PDP is on a list with other guns in the 2K+ range says something about how good it is.

Good informational video, I'm trying out a PRM30 30 round as a replacement to my long carried and slept with Makorav 8 round opting for more rounds faster as opposed to less rounds just as fast but often could be short and have to reload these days with what common criminals are carrying.. I have to beware of neighbors on all sides so this helped in my decision as well.. With Age comes Wisdom so I also hired on a semi Auto shot gun to give my 870 pump some time off.
Colion is that little punk kid that could not fight a lick and got his little punk arse kicked everyday. So, he feels powerful with his guns. Most gun nuts are punks. All you need is one gun to protect yourself against an aggressor. Not saying one should only be allowed one gun just when it comes to defending one's life that one gun in your hand will suffice. Police carry one gun, right? Nuff said!

I am as big a fan of the P320 as you are of the G19X. My choice hands down is the P320. There are several threaded barrel options both from Sig and after market. If the full size is to long for you with a silencer, go with the carry version. As for mags, Sig makes a 30 rounder. They aren’t cheap, but they work well. To add weight I am using the AXG grip module with their G10 grip panels. It’s not cheap, but you can definitely make the gun exactly the way you want it.

The glock 17 with a 33rd mag and tlr-4 was my home defense gun for a long time.

The Staccatto LP is the one for you IMO from this video. I'd go with the absolute best shooting performance, i.e. shooting your best (in this particular situation, home defense where someone breaks into your home and the possibility of them killing you cant be ruled out). Aesthetics are nice though, I will have to admit. But not a priority in this situation personally. Kind of surprised one of these would be better that what you got actually.

Most days its just my ccw, the 365. But on my stay home days I pull out the 320 with a light and night sights.
I use my Glock 19x and I had the slide cut for my RMR 06 red dot.
No surprise CZ didn't make the list. They don't give guns to influencers.

I love 9mm I have 4 of them. That’s why I went with the Glock19 for home defense TLR6 with laser and light if u choose to play with my life it won’t be good for u that night 😆
I currently have a Berreta APX in my night stand and man is that thing a tank and severely underrated with 17 round flush fit mags and the Berreta realizability , i haven't been shooting a lot recently due to funds for ammo but with the 700ish I have put thru it I have had zero flaws even with shitty steel and aluminum case rounds , for under $400 you can't go wrong
I've really want a 2011, but my commie state (Commifornia) banned them🤬. I'm looking at the HK P2000 for my next pistol. It's not as sexy, but I have less options here😮💨

I'd love to see your take on the FN 509 Midsize MRD (Or Tactical). I'm torn on which would best suit my needs. Really I think versatility (home defense and CCW) is the name of the game; and I worry the midsize is too big to CC. Feel like I should just go with compact and get the mag sleeves for the bigger mags.
I went with a Beretta M9A4 in FDE. I had a 96a1 for years but wanted a 9mm, love both guns. both are paper weights but great bedside guns.

My home carry is a Beretta 92FS, However… My current carry is normally my personal Glock 17 that I built myself until I finish building my Glock 19
I like my Sig P226 with great night sights.
Night sights are great for knowing exactly where you are pointing the gun in the dark.
I lost all of my guns in an unfortunate boating accident…
My nightstand gun is whatever my monthly EDC is at the time of the rotation.
