What happens when you show TACTICAL PATIENCE?
Tactical patients is all about timing … and, as you guessed, being patient. In a world where time is perhaps the greatest commodity, we all hate to waste it – or use too much of it. But sometimes it is wise to slow down and to let a situation develop. And certainly, if and when it is a matter of life and death, as in a tactical situation, it is often wise to simply wait until conditions are met and the odds are stacked more in your favor.

Hey, do you have any tips for ASVAB for people who want a high grade score
Tactical or Strategic Patience ?
Yep 👍
could you do a video or reference resources on how to be TACTFUL in your words or actions in the military?
great video. Love how you blend battlefield commentary with life advice.
So before taking the next step with a girl, we should call in apache strikes. Got it….Doom music starts playing in the distance.
I bet there are a lot a tactical patients in military hospitals
I love how the military will throw tactical in front of anything
I find myself getting impatient with his slow rate of speech. Spit it out, man!
You switched mics a while back and ever since then the base balance has been off. Maybe you could try to EQ the audio track to reduce it?
What patch is that in the thumb nail?
I use tactical patiance, i don't watch the video at the same time you uploaded it, but i wait the perfect time for watching it confortably in my Tv and no person can break me that pleasure 😊
Play the long term game. Suffer in silence. Learning this later in life but able to pass this on the the little ones. Thank you again, sir! 🇺🇸
Will you ever do a review on Sapper School?
Chris, I got your book a few months ago, now I've been dealing with a busy schedule. I've finally started to read "Special Operations Mindset" and have been following along with the planners you put in each chapter. It started to show improvement, honestly I think it's a great help. I hope to become an Airborne Ranger, I'm about to be a 35 Lima and I just gotta say I appreciate your whits, tips, and help!
what songs do you play? I wanna work out to them heh
Sometimes, the corollary to this is the best course of action is to do nothing. This is particularly true when receiving alarming phone calls or emails from unknowns or when your college classmate tells you he has lost his wallet in Thailand and needs two grand to get home. I’d like to see a discussion of this corollary (and tactical patience) against the “do something, anything, but don’t just do nothing” view of actions on contact.
Just Breath, and Stay Focused. You'll hear that little voice in the back of your head, yelling "Go, Go, Go, Do it!!!!! …" You tell that little bastard to STFU and focus on the plan, you got it, you know what to do, you have the balls to handle it. There's no reason to freak out like a new guy.
Like the old saying goes…
"Two bulls stood on the top of a hill, and are looking down on a heard of cows.
Young one says, " Hey, dad, lets run down there and fuck one of them cows." Old one says, "No son, lets walk down, and fuck em all.""
Could you do a video on highschool and college advice please? I could use a bit of both.
They say love is a battlefield.
If only Anakin had tactical patience…
When people use time against you, it’s probably a bad deal. Salesmen often try this.
Hey, I don’t know if it’s a good idea but I’d love to see a video on how to learn from failures.
From CAS to DTF. This channel has it all!
This will not work every time if enemy is smart.
A) They could have mortars and anti-air in defensive line
B) They could just ambush you for 2 min and then place soldier dolls and traps to trick helicopters into wasting rockets
Generaly if you cant kill the enemy in first 5 min, you should disenage from combat before they call in any support.
Holy sh*t I subs to this channel when there were around 1.3k subscribers. Good to see how far along it has come.
Don't go for someone that uses military training in romantic relationships. Just my opinion.
Or meet me on judgement day and I will help you adjust your lack of honor
Reminds kinda how dangerous goods accidents are handled on the road. If there's no need to hurry, then use that time to prepare before you do something that is irreversible. Like before opening a hatch of a tanker they get firefighting foam ready if there's a fire inside.
Patience was only an option in your scenario because you had air support. Patience got the ambushers killed in your scenario, who should've withdrew immediately in this context.
Good tips. Thank you sir.
An example of tactical patience that I often see in the business sector;
– As a specific decision deadline begins to loom, parties in the situation may begin to feel the pressure of that deadline, and feel the need to "make a move", or in a similar fashion,
– Parties may suffer from "check the box" syndrome, where by they feel the need to get a decision done as soon as possible, so they can feel the rush of having "checked a box" on their todo list,
Both of these approached cause one to act too early; if you leave your decision to the last minute, the early actions of other parties may cause new information to come to light, or at least give you the advantage of knowing their intent, both resulting in providing you more information to make a better decision.
Think what you may of Giuliani, but he was a master of this when he was Major of New York.
Thank you Sir, for the motivating videos.
This helps me a lot, though I'm still learning. After all, there's a saying that life is like a battlefield.
