Any constructive criticism?
Klopp is so overrated and his midfield are average. They never should have sold Mane
The hyped for a win against Liverpool is everywhere. Outclassed? Wow! Lets not get too much, Liverpool had some main players injured. Yes, United played very well defensively and in counter but when you say outclassed, United should completely dominate the possession and score 3,4 goals.
I like how u balanced out the arguments. Not only did u explain why United were able to implement the game plan effectively, but u also, in all fairness pointed out the absence of two of Liverpool's best midfielders in Fabinho and Thiago. Well said. Ur objectivity is on point.
Road to 70k subs 💪🏽
Anyone hear united were completely at the mercy of the united attackers 😹 banging video though
We need this in Canada so we can watch serie A
Liverpool dont have attacking or defensive midfielders against United so they have no answer to united pressing. Enough said 🤣
outclassed ????? they had 30% possession at home , a lot of last ditch defending and blocks on the line but a win is a win
my favourite football channel
No Mane, No Party lad 😭. He's scored 4 goals in 4 starts for Bayern, that's as many goals as we've scored as a team. We sold a legend and replaced him with a kid, we lost his winning attitude, his goals, his pressing he was our mentality monster..
Now keep this back four starting together for the foreseeable future
I’ve got a random question. Do u think Lautaro is too short 2 be an ST?
Without Maguire Liverpool suffering their first loss in 2022.
Maguire out…=Win, easy math
One of the crucial decision which changed the game was not to play Maguire. Our defense played with so much confidence against Pool. You could notice this by simply looking at our past games. People think twice before passing to Maguire and always try to look for other options and ends up losing the ball. Also, Martinez had some pretty good distributions from the back to our wingers.
I loved the fact that we didn't opt for playing from the back as we still need a massive improvements in our play for building from the back
Glazers out…!
Give Ten Hag some time even when in the next games when you lose some points.
You will play for championships and with entertaining football.
Hope you win the leage title this year 👍
9:04 "united are completely at the mercy of the united attackers." is that a Freudian slip?
Utd is behaving as if they have won the league. It’s just one match. Liverpool with their wins against them last season, didn’t even behave this way. Just shows where utd is mentally.
The most pragmatic decision was that Martinez was allowed to play out but De Gea was instructed to go long so we didn't see his weakness playing the ball short where he displays a lack of accuracy with his kicked passes. The absence of Maguire meant we had 2 CBs who are fast so less obviously vulnerable to balls played into channels. Martinez is the better passer of the 2 and made some very good decisions in getting the ball out. Varane was physically dominant. So we had a clear mechanism for regaining possession and transitioning to attack.
The movement was better in attack. It's difficult to know if this is repeatable as Liverpool were very poor in midfield and disorganised in defence. They played into Utd's counterattacking hands and allowed considerable freedom on the wings. Malacia was a real benefit as he can bomb up and down the pitch and has the skills to play wingback if required.
Reintroduce Maguire and Shaw and we'd be right back to the drawing board with a slower central defence, less mobility at LB and Dalot's defensive weaknesses being exposed.
We've seen Utd win big games with a low possession & fast counterattacking style under Jose and Ole as we don't have the central midfield to dominate games. This was a twist on that formula. It wasn't something brand new and we should be careful in declaring this a new dawn. Utd need an attacking CM and another forward. The positive is it showed Ten Hag adapt to his squad and the opponent as opposed to sticking with the tactics he favoured at Ajax.
2:20 “United’s press was extremely coordinated.” Never thought I’d see the day
Why is everyone saying Elanga was pretty poor? He had the assist for the first goal and he hit the woodwork, he took on Trent and beat him a few and he progressed the play and pressed really well too, I would say he had a decent game
Thanks for allowing us to use the videos
Just an interesting thing for me. How many times do you re-watch the game to find the pictures and moments explaining the tactics in best way?
Malacia had Salah in his back pocket all game. Love the look of the lad
Tactical masterclass from Ten Hag but he needs to replace his wedding suit.
As united fan i cant believe the hype we are creating…..😑😑😑
Just kool wait till liverpool meets us again. We took advantage of just take the ball ,and run at liverpool and it work. Elanga im sorry got subbed. He was dangerous at the front . Now its a different story Saturday. Let me see wa gwan now.
Hey man can you please make such analysis for everything big team in all top leagues and in big games as well cos your content is great but it’s only based around man united 😭😭😭😭
Love your work keep it up
Man Utd won because liverpool has many absentees . Full stop.
the worry i have is playing against teams who are not going to give you space these players are only good when we do not have the ball so this game should not be a benchmark of what can happen through the season
If Ten Hag is wearing a club suit it's time to spend more then 25 pounds on the club suits
one game and you call this outclassed? that is sheep thinking. wait for the 10 or 15 games. He proved nothing yet after losing heavily to Brentford. How about the thrashing of brentford?
Cracking video
Tenhag and his team should always take time to watch atleast opponents previous five games and plan on how to play them having an idea on how they play. Manchester City has not changed they way they play. This is how Manchester City have been plsying yet Manchester United seem to have had no Idea on how Manchester City plays. The goals were really unnecessary goals.
I wonder why Tenhag is not bringing WanBissaka in the line up. He would have blocked those crossing balls from the left wing that caused problems to the team.
