I painted a black powder to match my sitka elevated optifade camo gear. I used a sea sponge and dipped and dabbed to make the pattern. I think if I had done what I did, then used the dark on top and light on bottom method, it would have looked a little better
Brother you should really wear gloves eye wear and especially a respirator.
That stuff can be toxic.
But the most important safety is…
Turning To Jesus Christ,
Turning Away From Sin
Coming To Grace, Unto Eternal Life With God Through The Lord Jesus Christ.
For The Kingdom Of God Is At Hand.
May Peace Be To You From Jesus Christ. Amen
Hello I’m outbackscout_ check out my videos please I have a bolt gun I did that vanishes in my area I love your ideas 💡 I’ll try to do dark on top light on bottom
I will rip up the area and lay the Foliage On the gun in a random spot after I color the gun with the lightest natural color I have. This will brake up the patter better then singling one ☝️ plant out for shapes
Then I love to finde small but detail plays that will normally grow every where (common small plants 🌱)
The details matter when it comes to hiding 🙈 that’s when I use the plant colors can ( olive drab) I aim for pine needles for clovers grass This help makes texture for the gun to make it look like it belongs in the area your are operating in
I feel compelled now to buy a new AR, so I can paint my “old” one.
We like. Right guys?
He just sprayed straight into the mag well.
Would it be acceptable and beneficial to go over it lightly with steel wool, prior to applying the clear flat matte coat?
Between your 2nd & 3rd colors (brown & OD green) is where you add your tiger stripes. This is accomplished by simply cutting tiger stripe stencils (10-12) out of your masking tape with an X-acto knife. Once applied, then you add your final colors. After all is dry, peel off your tiger stripe stencils to reveal a truly awesome camo job. Trust me. It's worth the effort!
Thank you for your service but a Sig Romeo is not Gucci lol
Tactical Bob Ross!
Him: Depending on where you're going to be operating…….
Me: I'm going to be operating in my Mom's basement should I use refrigerator colors blended with carpet colors?
Black occurs in nature a lot. It's called shadows. If you look at a bush or hedge or any foliage, half of it it's going to be black shadow. That's why I like the AOR pattern so much: it has deep rich black in its pattern which lends itself to compensating for the garment's flat 2D nature. But yeah, a black rifle does stick out and definitely should be painted.
“Hey…..Sig.” 😂😂😂 Idk why but that was hilarious.
Why.
Do you think you are invisible now.
Tactical Excellence!
Where did the gun go?
There are hundreds of tutorials like these on youtube. But this one is the best. Love the explanation and whole comparison to camouflage in nature.
Also, I don't need to remark on Coch's super laid-back casual attitude that is just infectious. Not only informative but relaxing and wholesome at the same time 😀
Very cool! 😎
Thanks, Coch
Soothing… like a tactical Bob Ross. I am doing this. Thanks Coch!
Great Job. I love your yard. It reminds me of the Jungle Cruise at Disney Land.
You can also use a pantyhose to give it a web-like look. or tape off parts and spray it in several times to give it a broken color pattern
He doesn't care about the name, but he couldn't keep from saying it.🤡
Picasso ova hea 😁👍 Nice work Coach! Fancy with the hardware and deadly as ever.. I met this guy in person and you'd never guess how many OP's he's been involved in.. That's how you distinguish the difference
Cool video thanks.
Nice. Hillbilly quality.
Carb cleaner not good on plastic and rattle paint wount last long it start peeling even the coats they use to paint in shops will sooner later peel some what a baked professional creo coat best
Clear coat
Helps alot on a paint job gd deal
I've watched multiple vids on this , this one by far was the best , thank you
I built a budget rifle for a tractor field/ rifle , I bought everything of the clearance racks. Did not care about matching finishes or colors , so this was the plan , thanks again
After 7 minutes it's just a floating piece of nature
Thank you.
Black shows up really well in night vision goggles. So even at night, black is not a great color in the military.
Outstanding
what upper is that?
this is a great vid! learned alot from this and now off to paint my rifles!
We call the natural two tone coloration of animals (like coyotes, fish, and birds) "counter-shading".
"Gotta be Gucci, right?"
I'll now be watching all your videos…😄😄😄
I've always painted more or less the same style. I really like your addition of mimicking the animals from nature's camo. That makes a lot of sense. Thankyou
Navy seal in the title… Always makes for a good eye roll.
I thought this was going to be boring and repetitive from what I already know, it wasn’t
