12 gauge repeater AK-style shotgun Restoration

Hello everyone! Today I’m restoring a very Rusty 12 gauge repeater AK-style shotgun. This 12 Bor Pakistani rifle, was made in 1990. It was hidden inside a wall and was found by builders during renovation.
The gun was very Rusty. Some parts was missing. I was hesitant to restore such an old rifle, but i decided it would provide me with useful experience.This means much time needed for the restoration. however i managed to complete the restoration of this beauty.
The restoration processe start from disassembly the gun and after i put the Rifle in my classic liquid for remove rust and start the restoration.

This video is only a restoration of an historical object and in no way about the apology of weapons. The gun was not difficult to disassemble. The hard part for me was fixing the broken stock and bringing out the beautiful colors of the wood. In the end I was quite happy how the bug chewed stock came out. I wanted to give a real test fire for the video, but for safety I will wait until I have the riffle looked at by a qualified gunsmith. After that the rifle look like brand new, but the restoration process is not endend, because this gun need a lot of other process for have a good restoration.

Have you looked into talking with the youtuber brendan herera or more comonly known as the ak guy, he could shed some extra light on what this gun is since the plastic does show it is a gun made in a factory and maybe he could look into if it is a gun of value to like museums thus bringin in more money to help you in way you would want to make money for😉

  18. Nice job so going to tell you how to clean the strap this is how I clean my shoe laces and belt I get a plastic bottel and I put soap in it with the laces belt let it sit for about an hour then shake the crap out of it for about five min rinse put just water in the bottle shake and dry

  31. Fake and gay. That front grip would never have any discoloration like you have shown. Might be real rust, but it has been artificially applied. In other words you damaged this on purpose only to make a cleaning video. Lots of ads too, pathetic.

Твердое хорошо, работа с металлом проведена хорошая, работоспособность оружия восстановлена, но и недочётов хватает, рычаг предохранителя не такая уж дорогая вещь чтобы не купить новый, работа с деревом вообще слабая, даже края не выровнены, можно ведь было сделать на самом деле чистым или вообще новое вырезать, ясеневое цевье смотрелось бы просто очаровательно как и рукоять управления огнем, и последнее, приклад, его фиксатор все же следовало привести в порядок, он явно либо согнут либо изношен и потому не даёт ровной линии со ствольной коробкой, а это обязательно скажется на точности огня. Но повторюсь, в целом не отлично, но очень хорошо.
